Qty on Shelf and Qty Available SOH values are not displaying in sales orders and quotes

Problem

Saving a sales order or quotes displays the fields Qty on Shelf and Qty Available as 0.

Solution

The values that display in these two fields is controlled by two system settings in the Invoicing tab of System Configuration - DoNotReadSOHLevels applies to sales orders and DoNotReadSOHLevelsForQuotes to quotes.  

Qty on Shelf is the quantity from the stock on hand table, while Qty available is the quantity from the SOH table less back orders.

These fields operate as follows:

Open

1. Ticked - and current stock levels only display as lines are added to the form. On save the figures are no longer available

2. Un-ticked - the current stock levels are displayed at all times
