Period lock incorrectly reported when posting into the last month of the financial year 7.00.149

Problem

Posting any transaction into the last month of the Financial Year incorrectly reports a Period Lock - Period Lock for Year: 2016, Date: 01/06/2017 Period: 12, Jun 19

Solution

The problem only exists in 07.00.149 and is incorrectly looking at the last period of the last year in the database which in the screen shot above is June 2019, not the relevant period of June 2017.  

Its a simple matter to correct the problem.

1. General Ledger > Configuration > Setup

2. Select the relevant year - in this case 2018

3. Change the status of Period 12 to Open and save

4. Transactions will now post without error
