Price Updates using the Import from Excel errors "Cannot create ActiveX component" error when selecting the Excel file

Problem

Using the menu option Inventory > Utilities > Prices Updates > Import from Excel errors when selecting the file to import.

Solution

The error is reported because Excel is not installed on the machine using the import utility.  In version the release of 7.01.00 a message displays "Excel must be installed to use this feature."  In versions 7.00.175 and earlier and system errors as detailed above.
