How can I search for remarks entered in the Payments tab of sales orders?

Question

 Data is entered into the Remark field of the payments tab in sales orders.  Can I use the Global search to find this information? 

 

Answer

SQL skills are required

A working knowledge of SQL Management Studio is required to complete this task

This feature is standard in 7.02.00.  Data entered in the Remark field of the Payments tab of sales order (either grid) and can searched for using the Global Search function

Results appear in the search grid for selection

For versions of Jiwa prior to this:

  1. download and run the attached stored procedure over your database

  2. load System Settings > Search > Search Item Maintenance 

  3. type in a relevant name and select the stored procedure usp_JIWA_SearchItem_SalesOrders, tick Enabled and save

The search option is now available for use.
