Do we have access to see the archived transactions from within Jiwa?

Question

When I archive debtor and creditor transactions, can I still get a listing of these transactions?  Can I drill to see the transactions that have been archived?

Answer

The ability to do that in 6.5.13 had to be retired when we coded the archive utilities to support Azure databases in Version 7. Data is deleted from the database and re-inserted as one debit and one credit transaction per debtor/creditor.

Example - archiving debtor transactions over 2 years old for one debtor - 86  debtor transaction records and 73 debtor allocation records are removed totalling $1,115,127.26. These transactions are deleted from the database and one debit and 1 credit transaction is inserted - Invoice No = 00000, date = the most recent date of the archived transactions, amount = $1,115,127.26.

These transactions appear in the Debtor (Creditor) Transaction Listing report as 'Source Not Recorded'
