Jumping around when scrolling through a list

Question

Why is it, when I scroll down through a long list on the screen, when I select an item the results of the list appear to jump and I click on the wrong item.

Answer

This common experience in lists that go beyond the horizontal limits of the screen is not limited to just Jiwa. It happens in many Windows scroll screens.

As a user, what you have to do is bring focus to the scroll form, then scroll down.

E.g. in the Debtor Maintenance > Transactions tab click on any cell in the transactions listing, near the top of the list. This brings focus to the list.

Now scroll down.

Then click or drill to an invoice near the bottom of the list. There won’t be any jumping around now.
