Adding new filters to search windows

Filters can be added to search windows to improve the ability to search for and locate relevant records.  

Step-by-step guide

New filters in a database are available to all users in that database.

  1. Load the form where the filter is to be created e.g. Creditors

  2. Load the search window

  3. Select the Filter icon
     
     

  4. Type in a Name for the filter, a Description if needed and the SQL statement in the field Filter String

  5. Repeat for additional filters

  6. Save and close the Filter

  7. The new filter(s) are now available to all users for selection in the search window and the form
