Configuring the Notification service

To make full use of the To-Do functionality in Jiwa, configuring the Notification Service allows reminders to display when tasks become due.

Step-by-step guide

Its a simple process to configure this service.

• Load System Settings > System Configuration > System tab

• Change setting ToDoPollInterval from 0 to the number of seconds to poll e.g. 5

• Set NotificationStickyWhenIdleSeconds as required

• Save, exit and log back in again

The icon bottom right status bar changes from the two heads with a red cross

to two heads no cross. Hovering over that icon shows it's now configured for the To-Do's. 

You may also want to consider adding the To Do List to the Startup tab in Staff Maintenance so that list loads on login.
