QUESTION

There are two licence types - Pooled and Named.  What is the difference between the two and how are they used?

ANSWER

There are two types of licences - Pooled and Named.  A 'Named' licence requires a username and is consumed when the user with that name logs into Jiwa.  A Named licence can be created and used to ensure a specific user(s) can always get in or can be used to always ensure a utility like PluginSchedulerService always has access and can login. Generally, Pooled licences are issued unless otherwise requested e.g. a client might buy 5 licences and want 4 Pooled (first come first served) and 1 Named licence.

Here is an example of the licences for Jiwa Demonstration database.
