Filters can be added to search windows to improve the ability to search for and locate relevant records.
Step-by-step guide
New filters in a database are available to all users in that database.
- Load the form where the filter is to be created e.g. Creditors
- Load the search window
- Select the Filter icon
- Type in a Name of for the filter, a Description if needed and the SQL statement in the field Filter String
- Repeat for additional filters
Save and close the Filter
The new filter(s) are now available to all users for selection in the search window and the form
