Please distinguish batch tracked items from serial tracked items.

Serial tracked items should only have a quantity of 1 but batch tracked items can have a quantity of many.  Jiwa currently uses the same settings for both batch and serial tracked items.  Therefore serial items can have a quantity of many when it should only be 1.

As a result we have scenarios where serial tracked items can be credited twice even though the item has only been sold to a customer once, as per the example from my demo database below.

ASPluris, which integrates with Jiwa, has had to work around this limitation with a custom field on inventory maintenance.
