BMMGT010 - Bill of Materials Component WIP. Totals are incorrect when you have multiple outputs

Description

The Total WIP Cost Totals are incorrect when you have a work order with multiple outputs. The Cost is being multiplied by the Input cost on each output item which results in an overstated Total WIP Cost.

Steps to recreate:

  1. Create a new WO for 1089-AX, Production QTY = 2. Add in Part No 1089-XX-SN as an additional Output item, unit qty = 1. Save.

  2. Set Status = Started. Select all required input items. Save.

  3. Run Report BMMGT010 - Bill of Materials Component WIP. Set the ranges as below.

  4. Check the input details of item 01140008. The input cost is 710 for both items. Total input cost for item 01140008 → 710 * 2 = 1,420.00. We need to add the Output Cost Percentage when calculating the WIP cost against each output item

    1. 1089-AX-SN has an 80% Output Cost ratio. Apply 80% to the total of 1,420 = 1,136.00

    2. 1089-XX-SN has an 20% Output Cost ratio. Apply 20% to the total of 1,420 = 284.00

    3. Total WIP for item 01140008 = 1,420.00 not 2,840.00

Passes testing in 8.0.14.

Assuming there is a step that is missing here, to manually set the Cost Percentage against the 2 output items to 80/20. Otherwise first output continues to take all the cost.
