How do I give / restrict access to users being able to change warehouses?

A client may want to control which user groups have ability to change warehouses to view and create transactions in different warehouses.

Note:

Double right mouse click in the status bar displays the Change Current Warehouse option

Step-by-step guide

The permissions over the ability to change warehouses in the Abstract Permissions tab of the Warehouse Maintenance.

Permissions required to Group Maintenance

You will need access to load and edit the User Group Maintenance form to make these changes

 

  1. Inventory > Configuration > Warehouse Maintenance

  2. Click Utilities tab and Set Permissions

  3. Select the relevant group and Abstract Permissions

  4. Set the required permission level and save

  5. Repeat for other groups as required
