Printing from ASPluris

Printing from ASPluris

A separate label print service must be installed. This print service can be installed locally, where connected to the printer, then configured to send printer prompts backwards and forwards to the ASPluris service in the cloud (Notification mode). Or it can be installed alongside the ASPluris service if both are hosted locally on the same network as the printer.

Steps for printing

  1. Create a local user account for the print service

  2. Give permissions to the local user for ProgramData folder

  3. Install the ASPluris Print Service and configure it to run with local user account

  4. Set Notification Mode is service running in cloud

  5. Set ASPluris Service URI if service in the cloud

There is a setting in the OnCanPrintAfterPickAndPack.sql file found here C:\ProgramData\ASP Microcomputers\ASPluris V3.0\CustomPrintLabelQueries

'1' as [SHOW_PRINT_WINDOW],

By default, this is set to 1, which prompts the operator to print the label. If changed to 0, the system will always print the label without prompting
