Inventory Figures

The inventory Figures tab displays sales quantities and dollar values for the inventory item you have open, over the course of a year. Use the drop-down to select another year. Current Year is the year in bold.

When you select a specific warehouse in the footer of the form, you will find the Min SOH and Min Dollar Value etc columns become editable. If you don’t have a specific warehouse ticked, those columns are greyed out.

The Auto Set Value function in the bottom of the form assists you in filling out those columns. These a range of options there

Note: even though the editable column headings refer to the current year e.g. “2024 Min SOH”, these values don’t change if you’re displaying other years.

Min SOH is used in Jiwa’s various standard purchase ordering algorithms.

Safety Min and Safety Max are not used Jiwa’s various standard purchase ordering algorithms, but are available for use for any custom requirements.

Min Dollar Value is calculated as Min SOH quantity x Last Cost.

 

You will find the Min SOH, Safety Min and Safety Max values in the IN_OrderLevels table. There will be one row per partno per logical warehouse.

The Budget Units and Budget Dollars are stored in the IN_Budget table.
